Test colours on your jawline and throat not your face, wrist or hand and the right one will vanish into your skin. Always do your test in daylight, you can ask for a hand mirror at the makeup store and go outside to get daylight. Note that wearing a wrong powder/foundation shade can mess up your look so take your time and be absolutely sure of the shade you settle for before leaving the store.
