Whether you spent the night tossing and turning or staying out late way past your bed time, you will probably pay for it in the morning with a matching set of luggage underneath your eyes. Putting on your makeup as usual won’t help you hide those puffy eyes because makeup looks different on your skin when you are tired, no matter the efforts made.
Go a little heavier on the eyeliner if your eyes are puffy. A little extra dark liner on the top lid at the lash line will help to disguise the redness and puffiness. Anything too dark or shimmery will just make the eyes look more swollen and red.
Use a concealer (a shade lighter) to brighten up the under eye area.
Also, do not forget to curl your natural lashes (with a lash curler) and apply an extra coat or two of mascara to make the eyes pop!
Hung over skin tends to be more pale and a bit lifeless looking. Using a touch of extra blush, especially something peachy will bring life back into the face. Pinky peaches are more flattering because they warm you up. Stay away from anything too cold looking, such as champagne tones that make you look more drained.
If you have an oily complexion or prefer powder in general, powder blush with some shimmer can help brighten your complexion.MAC's Mineralized Blushes are fantastic. They come in really pretty colors and add shimmer without looking like you’re sparkling.
Lips stains also give pale lips a dose of color. Revlon has great lip stain which look like your own natural lips. After all, you want to look like you, only a little bit better.
I am mesmerised by dis info......tnks a Million.Meanwhile wld u say dt concealers do d work on d face beta dan foundations, esp wen u do not hv bleamishes on d face?
ReplyDeleteThanks Juliet. You dont need concealers if you have no blemish. Foundation and powder application should give you a flawless look (if you use the right shade that suits your skin tone). The under eye area is very thin and gets discoloured and swollen most times due to stress or less sleep. In this case, apply a lighter shade of concealer to cover the darkness and swelling. However, concealer can be used even without discoloration and swelling to make that area bright.
ReplyDeleteTnks Nazee,am learning everyday, keep up the good work.
